I haven't heard of it, but I guess Hptuners is not going to support your new mods you are going to use. Are there any other company's to go with ? Your going to break into the 10's when you get this setup going, hell your almost there with 11.1 in the 1/4 mile.

Answering a question just yes doesn't tell anyone anything, either you know it and have info on the question being asked or you don't. In this case looks like its a no.

Eh, i've asked questions and didn't ever get an answer to what I really needed. However, not to bust your balls too much op, we try to keep it friendly here.

              Anyways, I imagine you'll need PCM pinouts from both a ls1 and a 3.8l.

I hope this helps. Unless this is the rewire you were talking about.

I'm just saying if you know something then post it up not just a yes no answer does no good esp. when he said he searched and wanted help. saying Yes means nothing and I would be pissed too. Since he runs the fastest 11.1 street F-body, need to show the guy some respect for what he has done, and he did it with only 10 PSI and a 35 shot of nitrous so they know how to setup a car for the strip. If I answered questions with yes and no answers it would do no good to those who email me or PM me with questions, just a wasted post to post yes or no with no reasoning behind it. Thats just my opinion though and respones like yes/ no is what they do on FTV6 , becuase they don't no anything about what their talking about, esp the newbs.

i'm not too terribly worried, anymore its losing most of the oem sensors and what not...pretty much just gonna make a custom engine harness and use an OE trans harness..

you'd think with the reaction we've gotten in the past year about this project, that we were trying the impossible..people flat out told us we couldn't use a 1040 honda box to run a v6 camaro...we've put 1040 boxes in everything from twin 67mm camaro's to turbo'd 4cyl mustang's...a lot of the EMS systems are like a blank box, the only difference between them is the preloaded maps, some features, and the pinouts..

anybody with a little electrical and automotive mindset can create an ECM harness.
even now that we have a LS1 box they still cringe.. along with the whole HPtuners can do it and blah...
minus a seperate MSD box that wouldn't play nicely with the stock ecu in a boosted app, you show me how hptuners can run swtich on the fly maps, 2step, anti-lag, nitrous and precision boost control..

you need to realize what we are used to dealing with...we came out of nowhere and people didn't really like what we accomplished with what we had.. so we may have the tendency to jump on the defensive just a little bit...

maybe i got a little carried away, but first of all, why would you ask for help, and then be rude and sarcastic about it? he didnt say post some links to where its been done, he just asked if its been done, if we wanted better answers, he should have been a little more descriptive of what exactly he wanted to know

I know about pinouts and making the harness just alittle though, I had to wire in 16 pinouts into the stock harness for my M5 to A4 swap, it is time consuming. You guys are doing a outstanding job on EQUIP's car , can't wait for some 10's out of it. I wish I could risk upping the boost in mine but its a DD, but I will still try to dyno 350-400 WRHP and take it to the track. After the build is complete or maybe in a month I'm buying a low mileage L26 to build up with JE 9.9:1 forged pistons and ETC, so about 10.1:1 compression when done. Then a Performbuilt II tranny and a 9 " rear will be next with 3.50 gears, but still will run 350-400 WRHP and just have a stout DD.
