how do you use the computer diagnostic key to get it to flash your code, put it in and turn the car off/ on three times?

take a paper clip and touch the i think first and fifth prongs, it should flash. if not try other holes. It should flash like once, then twice, signifying that that is code 12, or twice then 4 times, signifying that is code 24.Team NoVa

when i was at the auto zone they gave me a little key to use but it didnt work...Comment
