  • Fuel Trim

Was logging a run and for some reason my long term fuel trim bank 2 is at 16.4% even when it is idling. I even put the stock tune on the car but still my ltftb2 is still 16.4%. Can any one help me correct that?

      Re: Fuel Trim

What I noticed is that at wot it stays close to 0% so I am thinking maybe I have a vac leak somewhere but I could be wrong. I used part of Russ K's guide to adjust the PE tables.

You should be good if it is locking in at WOT.

Yeah bank one is close to that. bank 2 is the one that is really high.

              Re: Fuel Trim

You've been resetting the fuel trims right?

lmao, steve. I hate that way of tuning. I used the MAF table mostly with my wideband, but i've touched on the VE table. I need to learn more about tuning the VE because it seemed to have made a slight difference. That could be in my head though.

Anyways, BOT. Have you changed your injectors? And mostly, what tables have you edited? And what's your setup anyways?

I know, thats the only way I learned it , and it works well for me to dial in.

lol, dude I have 42.5 injectors in there and couldn't get the damn injector table right so I set them straight across the board at 42.5 and said f it. It runs the best that way so, lol whatever works.

                    Re: Fuel Trim

Injectors are stock. I did reset the fuel trims it goes straight to zero when I reset them but the problem is that after a few mins it start to climb to 16.4%.

                      Re: Fuel Trim

I heard the 42.5's are harder to tune than the 65LB injectors, so I could only imagine trying to dial them in.

If you don't have any exhaust leaks Causing your O2's to see a lean condition, you need to tune the MAF table.

Just in case you don't have a wideband I'd highly suggest getting one. It makes tuning exponentially faster and easier when you set up the right histogram. The AFR error % histogram specifically.

here's a post about injector tuning... seems like you're supposed to set the same across the board... the the turbov6camaro.... does that also
