i have almost 300k on my 1994 3.4 camaro... ive never had problems since i bought it at 179k. recently its been running funny like a cylinder down. after scanning it showed egr issues. i checked out my egr, and all the wires going to it are melted and burnt. the main wire harness it stems from is even burnt. these wires are 5 or more inches away from anything hot. Im curious how did this happen, and if i replace 150$ egr will/could it happen again??? thanks
