hi, got a p0304 (misfire #4) a few weeks ago. erased code and it came back about a week later. erased and it came back again. now it's coming back about every 100 miles or so. i can't feel the misfire and engine is running great, fuel mileage is also very good. this engine was completely overhauled about 8k ago, i know the engine is fine. have changed the plugs (old plugs had about 80k on them but they looked fine), swapped in a different coil, replaced #4 wire (old wire looked fine and all 6 wires were just replaced 8K ago with taylor's) , and changed the #4 injector. ICM test fine, too. perhaps heat is causing the wire to read a misfire? have pacesetters but have had these for about 20k and never had this issue before. header gaskets appear to be in good shape. i have no idea where to go from here. does anyone have ANY idea what else could cause this issue? thanks for any help/tips!

Re: P0304...can't cure this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
check the wire, make sure its perfect. After that, just live with it. Thats what I do with my after cat 02 sensor. I just let the SES code store itself then it doesnt come on as often.

lol. what if its a burned valve? is it service engine soon or service engine sometime? just giving ya a hard time. after swapping everything that i've listed, this issue is going to be something potentially major or something very obscure. i'll post the problem, if i ever find it.
