  • Hptuners Customer Service

It is great, Bill at hptuners helped me out alot , outstanding job. My laptop crashed and I lost all my files, programs and all my saved passwords. For some reason when I tried loading hptuners and framework 2.0 it wouldn't load on the laptop. He found me a program that made the framework 2.0 to install and then the Hptuners then could install, great work by him. I'm starting to get my turbo put on this weekend at Peak Boost so I really need Hptuners to tune. So if you have questions about Hptuners they def. have great customer service, I think they helped me the last time also when I switched to the PRO version.

No its fine , I have a 560 GB external hard drive I back most of the files up about a month ago so I didn't lose too much but thanks.

If you email Bill its like a hour or two and he responds. Also if you catch his email and ask another question he responds right away, great guy.

                    Re: Hptuners Customer Service

I just bought HP tuners off a member on FTV6 and i have no idea how to use it lol.

I tried logging in on the site with the serial number and the password the guy gave me, but it won't log me in. Does that mean the guy never created an account online?

                    help a brotha out

You would have to contact HPtuners, also he would of had to sent them a email saying he sold it to ya. But if he had serial and not Pro then I think your screwed becuase whoever didn't upgrade to Pro can't get free updates , they were suppose to upgrade by 9-19-09 for like $99 or $199 for the PRO. I think thats how it went.

Oh boy. Here goes another one! Just a word of advice, take it nice and slow and make small changes as you're going till you really understand the workings of the software.

Otherwise, HP tuners forum via Russ K's write up http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showpo...64&postcount=1

And "our" write up sticky'd here with credit to Viper as it is his info and website it's hosted on.
                          http://www2.turbov6camaro.com:443/tune.htm

My best advice is to take a bit of each and put together what works for you. There's no real sure fire way or procedure to tune a car.. as there are a few different ways that work for different people. SSMS likes to tune with injectors, I like to tune with my MAF. You'll figure it out.

I almost forgot LETZRIDE's guide. It's a good reference and may help speed up the learning process.

Vipers is a good tunning guide with screeen shots, I used his alot. Also 20-30 page one I downloaded and use to look at it when I was bored at work. LOL
