i have talk earlier about my rebuild well i replaced the cam and crank sensor. but still wont start. insturment panel says serivce engine and check guages. the seat belt stays on and the air bag flashes then stays on. any help. still no spark or fuel into the motor the fuel is in the rails but that as far as it goes.
Does it crank over of is there nothing when you turn the key? Also you will have to do a case learn since you relaced the crank sensor.

If you changed timing chains: did you put the magnet back in the cam gear?
I was asking about this in your other thread. If you dont put the magnet from the old timing set into the new one, your cam sensor will get no signal = no spark. Did you line up the 2 marks on the gears when you installed it?
i had a shop build the block so they must have put the magnet back on. there the best around here. i dont know what codes it throws because i dont have a code reader. yes it cranks over. how do you do a case laced?
there's a procedure on here somewhere for the case relearn if you search for it... or you can take the car to a dealer and most will do it for you free/cheap
You can take off the cam sensor and look for the magnet while you crank it... would have to get a mirror and flashlight or something to see it, but if techsan is right, it would be a fairly easy find

You'll need to get it running before you do a case relearn. Take it to a shop to do it, but break it in before you do. They will rev it up and hit the rev limiter during the procedure.
