  • Any one using the OBD1 conversion

Not sure how the program you have to use to program those computers displays it but could any one post the stock spark advance with these computers. I'm looking for a good place to start on a stock 3.4L and I cant seem to get a good feel out of an extrapolated version of turboproject's tune for megasquirt.
Either a pic of the table or a text table will work I just need a good sound place to start my tuning

I don't have tables, but if the OBD1 picks up a knock sensor circuit fault it automatically bumps the timing -15 degrees. I'll run the scanner on my car tomorrow to see if I can make a table of idle timings for you.

Edit: No load timing. just a basic 750rpm - 5000rpm table.

that will still do well i'm just looking for something to base off and also do you know by chance how far advanced the cam sensor trigger for the beginning of the spark cycle is? 57* seems to work based off turboproject's tune but i'm not 100% sure its what I need it to be

you should talk to John at 60inclusive.com

I'm currently finishing up my obd-1 swap on my 3.4 and am almost done with my tune.

John might even be able to give you the base .bin that he came up with for the 3.4

        That's what I started with.
