  • Thoughts on this wideband?

I was browsing around some sites and came across this autometer wideband at thunderracing. I want the AEM but I dont want to pay 200 bucks, I can get this one from thunderracing for 75 bucks. Just really want to get the cam swap going.

Yes narrow = poo , wideband is the real sh!t.LOL look into PLX , mines been running over 9 years no problems , still original sensor and box, knock on would. Plus the price is great and they use a Bosch 5 wire that is $60 shipped to replace if you have to ever replace it. I bought a extra once about 4-5 years ago because I thought it went out but it was a lose plug in. LOL oh well.

I ran into the same problem a few times, especially on eBay... the title of the listing will say: Wideband blah blah blah, but then in tiny little print near the bottom of the listing it will say narrowband

Autometer does make a wideband that comes with the sensor and stuff for $275ish. I think that's what I'm going to use.

The AEM UEGO is a good price. PLX has some good pricing too. You can get LC1 cheap too, but i hear its more of a pain to setup.

So I can get the PLX gauge for 80 bucks, but with the sensor they want like 300 or something. Anyone know where I can get the sensor for cheap? Ebay?

If you are looking for something in a reasonable price, you might want to check out JAW or NAW. They are user-friendly, have good support and include a digital guage, 2 programmable outputs (besides the guage) and you can even buy the kit to build them yourself. I have built 3 of these units...
