Hi,
I have a friend that works at a local airport and has access to 130 octane aviation gas. He uses it in his 67 camaro and 77 skylark and it smells awesome coming out the exhaust. Will this stuff kill and O2 sensor? I think it has a lot of lead in it.

Thanks.
Can't use leaded gas in an unleaded engine, the lead deposits that build up would be a bad thing for it, not to mention the cat would be clogged pretty fast, and youll kill the O2s

Hmm that **** has like 10 times the amount of lead than regular leaded gas ever had. I really doubt your cat, spark plugs, o2 sensors will be very happy. Not to mention that you won't gain anything except for that awesome smell, which is probably toxic.
They would have to prove its aviation fuel before anything.
I dont think the plugs and sensors would like that stuff too much...highest I have run on the car was 110 mixed with 94. (remember unless you put the stuff in with a bone dry tank, it will be diluted)...I think I was somewhere around 104 from my guestimate.
I would look into maybe getting your hands on some 110 Tony if you want to maybe run some more timing or something.
Without upping your timing you will not see any improvement with using a higher octane fuel unless you are already getting lots of knock...
