I would switch back to the maf ,instead of SD tunning, I have posted my current tune on HPtuners so maybe that can help you out. But if it is audible then theirs something wrong somewhere.

96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
fueling is fine...I went to switch back to maf...but there is sooo much tuning involved to go back...car runs so rich with the maf that it just shuts off...

Everything I've read about tuning says if your tune is good, it shouldn't matter SD or MAF.
and thats the thing...my tune is good...the fueling is good for the most part on it...its commanding more or less what I want give or take a few points.
but the knock is sporadic...it will come at cruise, say steady 60km/h...but then go away and nothing has changed, and timing will return to normal and still no knock...
If anyone wants to look at the scans I can send them my tune and my scan and they can take a look at what I am talking about and see if they can think of anything?
send your tune to me , ss6532@aol.com but I still think you have a audible KR somewhere either internal or exhaust wise to figure out, to have so much. But you did go with a big cam so maybe use the Kr program to see if it helps and maybe its just your lifters being nosiy, I know mine are, and have been for 9 years.

its definetly audible...but I don't think it is legit just based on the scans. I'm sending the scan/tune to you now. Im looking more at the huge spikes and how they appear and disappear under the same conditions with no change.

Got the scan , asked you a few questions on it and how you want me to do it. I have all acesss to 97' PCM's so I can change your tune and send it back for you to download to the car. Their are some concerns on you tune I mentioned in my email that I think that are cauising your false KR. Also I would reccomend getting the resistors for your car and using them for false KR, after the tune is working like normal again. Steve

If its audible, leave the tune alone. A tune that was off enough to be audible would be easy to notice. But you have a heavy cam, and you just put in a new engine. Look for the obvious, check transmission mount, check torque converter bolts (if they were loose, you would have destroyed SOMETHING by now.) Check your flywheel, I've seen those spin the center out but leaving enough grab to drive the vehicle slowly, so don't rule it out just cuz its unlikely. Check your exhaust. I'm leaning towards an exhaust pipe problem because I've fought that. Check pinched wires, check everything.
I can't see a loose bracket on the front causing a knock, unless if it was slamming something that doesn't give.
well the mount that the coil packs were on was slamming the valvecover...I just replaced the starter today and when I had the car in the air I had it on and was listening for the sounds...I couldnt hear anything...tried to give it some gas and still nothing...I'm wondering if maybe it was the bad starter? (I highly doubt this, and can't even see what would cause it) but I won't know now until I get the scanner back on it...
Which part the gear tooth part? I dont really think so, but some of the teeth kinda looked a little rougher when I looked at it...I have to double check.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
