While driving my 1999 3.8 Camaro my REDUCE ENGINE POWER come on? Car is boosting to 4psi but drives fine 0 - 80mph. Ounce over 85mph REDUCE ENGINE POWER oil pressure drops on Gauge and car cant drive over 30 mph. I put oil in engine and pressure goes back to normal. Need some Ideas on what problem could it be:
1. Head gasket going bad
2. Oil pump going bad High speed
3. Need fuel pump turbo
4. Need water pump due to Turbo
Let me know:rant:

See a professional before you blow the engine. I didn't and had to get a new engine, which is giving me problems now with low oil pressure.
You can blow a rod easy with this engine..trust me.
id take it back to NA with an na tune to see if anything changes. i dont understand oil pressure dropping like that... u said it helps when you add oil.. is it always low on oil?
Oil was fine I add more. I started to drive it again and working fine, take it to get dyno and retune turbo. Since this only happeneds at high speed will change injectors and fuel pump.:stp:
