    F-body family, I'm stumped...

Pulled the car out after it was parked for a few weeks and it started spitting with the dash lit up like christmas.

    codes scanned, and parts swapped.

brand New Throttle body from the dealer and the problem persisted.

Checked all grounds (six that I could find), fuses, and connections...nothing.

replaced the accelerator pedal with a used one from a 2001 with less than 70K...check the harness and nothing

Nothing changed with all the effort in...still spitting and angry.

I decided to pull the harness connector from the TB and there was no change...ran like crap with or without the TB connected.

I pulled out my multimeter to try to figure out the voltage...but I'm at a dead end...I can't find any layout of the wires for the electronic TB.

    Can anyone help?

Are you sure these codes are specific to the throttle? I recall P1xxx codes being manufacturer (GM) specific.

I'm on mobile so I'll look up the codes but if the throttle makes no difference, I'd suspect a sensor before throwing parts at it.

      Re: P1120, 1220, 1516

1999+ L36's has a electronic TB...TPS, TAC all in the TB unit.

      P1120
      Possible causes

      - Faulty Throttle Position Sensor
      - Throttle Position Sensor harness is open or shorted
      - Throttle Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
      - Throttle Position Sensor not properly adjusted

      P1220
      - Faulty Throttle Position (TP) Sensor
      - Throttle Position (TP) Sensor harness is open or shorted
      - Throttle Position (TP) Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

      P1516
      - Faulty Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) module
      - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) module harness is open or shorted
      - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) module circuit poor electrical connection
      - Check Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) module connector for water
      - Binding or bent throttle plate-failed throttle body

I just need a wiring diagram...need to ensure that it's not the new TB that's bad.

        Re: P1120, 1220, 1516

Yeah, I know I have a 2002. It was a total PITA when I broke one of the riveted sensors because I had to get a new one at the yard and they charged me as a MAF and not a throttle body.

I don't have the FSM for the Camaro so I guess I can't be of help anymore, although I'll try to google search em.
