  • Using a PCM just to read sensors

Like the title says, I have a GM PCM I just want to use to read sensors and be able to hook up an OBD II reader to for say an Android gauge cluster.
    It is a 97 na 3800 PCM.
Its an old truck and will remain carbureted but it is completely custom swap, so I figured I could use the spare PCM I have and hook the applicable sensors I want up with an ODB II port and read what I need. what do you think?
