alright guys maybe getting hp tuners if a deal goes through all good.
Where to begin on squeezing all the power I can out of my car N/A. Any boards to go to, any online write ups or anything...
Pretty new to it all but I am sure I will pick up on it quickly

Art definitely knows his stuff, maybe try asking him. I know he loves helping people tune cars.
I've also picked up a bunch of stuff from the DHP forum. I'm ready to get to some tuning on my car, I just need a couple more baseline to be sure I know what the car's doing.
Basics:
Tune the fuel at idle.
Tune the fuel during normal driving.
Tune fuel at WOT.
Slowly add timing. Back off if you see any KR.
Other stuff such as speedo, fans, DTC deletes, etc are easy to do.
think I could squeeze 2-3 more mph out of my car? It is relatively stock minus the intake and exhaust which are nothing special.
I know I think I might hit up art as well... don't wanna bother him too much though

fwiw we were able to grab like 4mph out of craigs car from one run to the next just via tuning.
00 GTP
98 Camaro v6
See, told ya I\'d be rockin another 4th gen :D
V6 & V8 tuning available at http://mysite.verizon.net/whenn1/

I was thinking about it, I might even be willing to go as high as 100 octane for some runs...
I was curious how much craig got with just a tune, I know he runs high mph, but he also has gears, and weight reduction, so its hard to see how much he gained(since one helps him and one hurts him)

^yeah im tryin the 100 octane next time im out on the 23rd too..i got the AFR so that im not seeing any KR until like 70 mph on the 150 shot when i used to see it right away..hits harder too..so im hoping that by adding more fuel towards the end and running high octane i'll run faster AND get rid of KR
Craig has an '02. And it's hard to say exactly how much HPTuners has helped him, since he's been using it and modding at the same time. I guess the only way to tell would be to load the stock tune back in for a few passes.

I'd be willing to almost guarantee he'd run 3-5mph slower minimum. Just the two step he has in there is probably worth 2 tenths and a couple of mph...and the KR he was having was costing him like 3mph as well...remember the night he ran the first 13.7 & 13.8? He went from like 94mph the one run where I tried something with his timing...next run he hit like 98.xxmph

like I said per my email...its craigs tune myself and another tuner have helped/guided him along the way in what needs to be done. If you'd like a copy of it hit him up im sure he'd help you out, if you already havent.

damn..with his gears, it being an M5, and an 02..his file probably wouldnt work in my car..i plan on running it NA again in the fall..with higher tire psi, colder air, and race fuel its probably got a 15.3 - 15.4 in it..id be happy with that
Eric, I am up for this! Lets wait for it to cool down some and lets do it. If you can get a WBO2 it would be really easy (maybe you could borrow Matt's, I hear he has a really nice one). ;)

don't worry I think I am going to be bothering you sometime soon... may be a bit though I still have ALOT to learn about tuning, but once I get myself into it I am sure I will start picking it up.
