• hptuners and timing adjustment(conservative, narro band tuning)

SO I think I will have my cable problems sorted out tomorrow.

Anyone find andy tutorials on timing advancing on our 3.8Ls or even any cars.

also what are some conservative numbers to work with. intake/exhaust basically car, to start working with, don't have a wideband yet to get too crazy, but wouldn't mine trying something along the lines of hypertech advancement and 93 octane.

I only need to lose 4/10ths to hit one of my goals

i didnt see much difference in my times between the stock file and the file Intense sent me..which was advanced 3* ..i think i was even a few hundredths faster on the stock file..the runs were all on premium fuel..same temp..everything..stock timing is best for me

difference is, I weigh 300 lbs myself, and my car is full weight and I am on street tires... so I need to do what I can with mph, especially with my gears.

was that for her nitrous? Or a plan n/a tune?

im sure with 2-4* more added timing & proper fueling would help out your car alot...maybe even more.

both...she runs a wet shot so the iat never sees it so you have to adjust for the nitrous that way...I only helped tune her NA since she had some fueling issues at the time that still needed to be straitened out and didnt feel like having a hand in blowing up her motor lol.
