UNDER POWER ENRICH

What exactly does this affect. Comparing to another tune I noticed the my stock settings for the AFR are set at 13.000 across the table until 230* its at 12.800 then it drops down progressively to 12.500 at 284*

What are the benefits and why would you want to raise the levels from 230* up to 13.00, all the way across the table all the way up to 284*

(Once again I am still a noob on this… so bear with me)

Power Enrichment is the mode the car runs in at WOT (actually, above a certain throttle setting). This is where you tune the WOT AFR. They richen up the mixture when the ECT is high to help control some detontation. Personally, I wouldn't mess much with the high temp stuff. If your car is working normally, you shouldn't ever even get that hot. Back around the normal temp is where you adjust the WOT AFR.

Note that this is the commanded AFR, but not what you actually get. If you're running rich at WOT, you'd lean out that value. You'd then use a wideband to see what kind of changes it made, and adjust as needed.

the 13.0 represents the base commanded afr...the other tables are adders meaning if a cell says -3.1 that means at that cell your talking base afr of 13.0+(-3.1)=9.9:1 commanded afr at that cell. Have fun.
