  • wierd IAT problem

well I have done some more tuning more so leaning out the car to bring my IPW donw cuase i was maxing out my 57# injectors lol

so i got those down to under 80% now

but i'm running 11 psi, i'm taking in air from under the hood and my air intake is at the MAX saying its only 104-105*

i got a new sensor ($10) and im getting the same thing...... now i',m not getting any KR and running 24* of timing.. the senors rarly goes over 95 so it never pulls timing for the intake air temp...

    so
www.turbov6camaro.com/log i the bin and log i did today

note i don't have 3rd gear any more and i half broke 4th trying to log so it and max maf is in 2nd.....

dont try to look at 1st soon as the turbo hits the rpms go up so fast the scaner skips almost 1000 rpms in some spots

any idea's or ways to test the sensor?

also big thanks FoFF677 for the tuning help i'm gettting to the point where i can under stand how the car thinks

What exactly is the question? Are you saying the IAT is showing too hot or too cool?

I *think* somewhere I saw a site with differnet resistors put in the IAT plug, and the temp that it showed to the car. For the love of god I cannot remember where...

or you can just have one of us get a resistor, pop it in, see what it reads, then you try same resistor a and compare numbers.

is therei any difference 97-02, with how the IAT woudl read?
