• Thanks!

Eric did a basic tune w/ HP Tuners for me tonight at a local meet at no charge! He is da man! :D
What he did:
Cooling Fan temp on/off (They were set at like 221)
Speed Limiter (180 mph)
Torque Management (Gone)
Something to do w/ the Cat (What was it again?)
I think that was it, maybe he remembers what else?

No problem...

but you forgot to mention the main reason you wanted me to do it. Erase the code from your !CAT mod.

I just don't remember what you said you did, something about the fuel?
Oh, and go look at my topic (No more Cat!), look what that redneck is trying to do now!

Torque Management
COT (Cat Over Temp protection)
I am making a list of ALL my modifications, and wanted to put all the tuning I had done. Is that all the stuff we did or was there more, I can't remember?

I don't notice a difference of harder shifts w/o Torque Management. Does it take a day or so to flash itself or something? I can't remember what you said because I’m so p***** at that d*** redneck!

It will make a slight difference, you will notice more of a differnece if you up the shift pressure but then alot of your shifts will feel stiffer. though I have heard that uploading the tables form a GTO makes it nice between performance and comfortable.

All right, I don't really understand much about tuning, what would you do just leave it or mess around w/ it? What other things could you do "basic"? Maybe at Saturdays meet? I'll get you a big pack of your favorite beer if you want.

not really much else I can do, I can get into tranny stuff, but then you get into a fine line of comfrotable to drive or hard shifts, and its something that you need to spend a decent amount of time.

I am VERY happy w/ what you did for now. After I get my Cam, then I will worry about more tuning. Thanks to you I can drive my car without coolant bubbling all over the place, and I can feel a slight increase in performance too. I will be bringing a crisp $20 bill to the Hooters meet for the tuning you did for me. Thanks man! :D

Sorry disapoint guys but I may not be drinking tomorrow. :( had a mini surgery today and on Oxycodine. With the hell my kidneys have been through this summer, may not play with beer and painkillers

But we should have some more meets.

What sucks is that Hooters does have pitchers on yeunling thats the one we hit up from work. But its all good my Boss owes me and 2 workers a free meal and beer at hooters.
