i just sent DHP an email and hopefully they will have something...i have a feeling though if they do they will charge a fortune for it.

DHP Powrtuner is cheaper than HP Tuners, however I don't believe you're supported directly. You may be able to swap in a later year PCM, though.

            All 3.8s have OBD-II, including 95s. ;)

Just swap in a 97 PCM and get whichever tuner you want.

No they don't, and that's a good thing because they suck.

ok so my best bet for a tuner would be DHP?

                  thanks for the info though

Does anyone on here have experience with DHP? I'd like to see what gains (if any) have been made. Any links to anything, etc. would help. Also, what is their direct site?

See my sig. I've been using the PowrTuner for months and I love it. It may not be as "pretty" as HP Tuners, but it accesses the exact same tables and lets you do the exact same things. Plus it's cheaper and you get better support on the forums.

http://www.digitalhorsepowerinc.com is their site, but it hasn't been updated in a while.

Cool, thanks for the tip. Have you noticed any gains with it? Do you calibrate everything manually by setting parameters or does it do a lot of it on it's own automatically? (I have used autotap in the past and had to create my own gauges to do readings.) Sorry about all the questions... thanks for any other help you can provide!

Here's a pic of the program from a while ago: http://www.leadingedgesim.com/mkapro.../PowrTuner.jpg

There's no wizards or anything to it, and as far as I know HP Tuners is the same way. To use a tuner like this you'll have to do some learning to figure it all out. You gotta know what you're doing before you go in and start making a bunch of changes. That said, if you want to learn it, I really don't think it's that hard.

I haven't noticed a huge gain yet, but I haven't gotten into the big power stuff. I've been waiting for the weather to cool off before getting into it. Today was the first day of cool weather we've had, so I'm looking forward to some fun tuning and track times.
