anything above 80% duty cycle is maxing out injectors... correct...
how come I am seeing 90% at upper rpms... stock fuel, jacked up timing?
other then that tune is pretty damn stock minus some little things?
also off hand what size injectors do we have and what is stock fuel pressure?

t-punks car was hitting 85-89% duty cycle...(z28 takeoff exhaust, air silencer delete) 100% factory tune.
Last night I was hitting 96% on the factory tune except for speedo recal. (cutout on shaved lid, air silencer delete)
Why would the factory prettu much have our injectors max out from the factory?

I'll go slower this time for you because its obviously not sinking in...the stock tune for say a 98 car commands a base afr of 12.8:1 at normal operating temp + all the adders
now there are no tps % adders only rpm vs time adders
I'll give you a couple of rows
the 0-21 second rows all look like this
now simple math shows that at 5600 your commanded af is 12.8+(-1.40039)=11.4:1 commanded a/f ratio...anywhere between 5600 and 6400rpms it blends that -1.4 and -4.6... -4.6 that means at 6400 rpms your COMMANDED A/f would be 12.8+(-4.59961)=8.2:1 Hello mcfly...gee I wonder why my injectors are maxing out on the stock fueling??? drrr and this is all before the COT fueling thats added in on top of all that, you figure it out from there.
