  • Got HP tuners for Christmas

I only got the standard and the not the enhanced with the wideband hook up. Is there any tuning I can do now before I get a wideband gauge and the wideband hook up to HP Tuners?

Ditch your Fmu and put some 36lb injectors in and get rid of your TRC-1 if you haven't already. Then work on your fuel and timing tables. Also your fuel trims.

first part adds timing to the car. Second part removes the cat. conv. temp protection when running no cat. conv.

Yep the first part is adding some timeing, I woudl not do it I believe FI cars retard it. Not sure on what tuning is needed with that.

As for the second one.. The computer adds fuel to the car to help protect the CAT, I set the temp higher so it doesn't do it.

I don't really do it for daily driving, I have it enabled at the moment but thinking about ditching it for good and if my cat goes bad earlier I might jsut !CAT it.
