For those who have taken off their egr, have you just turned off the ses light code, or is there other programming that should be done as well?

Not only do I have HP tuners, I have a viper04af tune, which is working out very well. I think I can add some more timing though. I'm hardly seeing any knock (not even 1*) with the starter tune you helped me with.

I did some research on EGR deletes and it seems that in the past when people totally remove the system (unbolt the valve and unplug the electrical connection to it) that they had problems with the 3-4 shift. Like it wouldn't shift until they let off the gas.

I was wondering if anything has been figured out about this now that we have hp tuners? I know everything works fine if you just plug the holes and remove the codes, but I would like to remove the whole assembly along with my EGR delete.

Let me know if you guys just plugged it and are running with the system style attached to engine or not. Thanks

you took the whole thing out of the engine bay? No shift problems? Just left the electrical connection hanging there?

If you took the whole thing out, where did you mount the oil dipstick tube, cuz that is attached to the assembly.

I made a bracket to mount my dipstick. Much cleaner engine bay with the EGR gone, and now there's still a bracket for the dipstick. Looks great.
