I dont want the EGR to warp the plastic intake gaskets? Is That good enough excuse to !EGR?
EGR shouldn't effect the gasket in any way. It goes straight into the intake manifold. </font>[/QUOTE]i think hes talking about the intake gaskets

upper intake (plenum) gasket and the lower intake plastic gasket (which also has a rubber o-ring around the TPS.
Sorry, I'm correcting myself, earlier I said "plastic intake gaskets" but the upper intake gasket is not plastic, just the lower.

Originally posted by slow6: excuse me again, I meant the upper intake gasket has the TPS with the rubber o-ring.
And what does TPS have to do with the upper intake manifold? Your car doesn't even have a normal TPS.
There are a couple o-rings there for a coolant passage.

I'm assuming it was from this thread. Like it says, it's only for the FWD L36s. EGR has absolutely nothing to do with our gaskets. ;)
