Thanks for the fast shipping Viper but I was wondering if you could direct me to the correct AEM site for instructions. Or can you tell me what color wire goes to what.
I am sure black is ground but what about the white, blue, and red?
Modifications:<br />headers, throtle bod spacer, flowmaster, high flow magnaflow carsound cat, powerdyne sc with 2.9\" pulley and by-pass valve, walboro 255 fuel pump, spec stage 2 clutch, and HP Tuners
red- 12v power (hook it up to some fuse that gives power when your car turns on) I have a power switch, even though I shouldnt.
Black- Ground (make sure its grounded gooood)
white- 0-5v Output (for your EIO)
Blue- is for a computer serial port (so you can log it to HyperTerminal, Telnet, PcAnywhere, etc etc etc... in case you dont have EIO)
I've got a Engine Managament software from AEM! I need to use it!
How come it didnt come w/ instructions? viper?
NO leaded fuels, Long term rich will shorten its life, High exhaust temps (turbo/super) will shorten its life, oil consumption more than 1 quart/1k miles will shorten its life.
DO NOT run the engine without power applied to the gauge!
So if your running super, make sure its far away from the exhaust manifolds (right infront of cat)

Did you guys drill a new hole through the firewall to fit the connector through or did you find an existing one that it fit through.

I usually turn on the gauge just before I start it. It will read 15.0:1 (which is NOT 14.7:1 STOICH)
Does it need to be recalibrated?
