  • anyone use JET Sc-2000??

has anyone used this. It plugs into your tranny and has dials for the stock gear to the gear changes and same with tires. Also it says that it removes the top speed limiter. Im wondering if anyone has used this because i was looking into getting one cause of my 3.73's and rims that threw everything off.

people here have used it before. However some people have had problems with defective boxes. A mail order tune can fix your gears and give you some extra power for about the same price from texas-speed.com

I am also not sure how high the gear changes go on those, I think you are ok yet at 3.73s but if you had 4.10s you would be out of luck. Someone else can chip in that have the jet scu2000.

Also try a search in the gen tech and adv. tech sections for it. There was a lot of talk about it before the tuning section was created because for a long time it was one of the only ways to correct for gear changes

Just tell them you want the timing retarded for nitrous. They'll do it.

that will be no problem for you and you will feel the difference. You just tell the your mod list like that and they can go from there

TSP is the way to go.

I ran a scu2000 successfully as well as Magnus for extended periods, but there were times I had problems with mine.

With the tuning there for almost the same price it is almost a no brainer to get the custom tune.
