Alright, im getting ready to order a tune from pcmforless tomorrow, and i took a look at the ordersheet to see all the stuff i can get tuned and there are a couple things i want to ask you guys before i submit it. I can get some of the codes removed from the pcm so i wont throw them. I can get the EGR code removed and the knock diagnostic removed. Should i got ahead and do these? If i do the EGR code delete, im going to get the block off plates and put one on the tb and on the pacesetters, get rid of the damn leak. The other is for the engine, i have the option of desensitizing the knock sensor, removing it completely, or leaving it as is. How should i go about that?

Re: need quick help with tuning options on my ordersheet
maybe not a good idea to play around with the knock sensors if you are not the one tuning the car. i think it is different if you had HPTuners and was logging runs and could change things back and forth and reduce the timing tables, etc. as needed. a permanent change like that would make me nervous.
