Well I am sure this will probably be moved but not sure so I thought I would put it here, I just had Jesse tune my truck and am very pleased, I also cant find any negative feedback about him plus his prices are AWESOME http://www.wait4meperformance.com/ so give him a try if you need a tune, a VERY nice guy which is tough to come by these days
Ohh, I think the Jet does remove the top speed, and changes spark timing, and all that Jazz. I see a major advantage to the Jet because if you dont like the tune, it is easy to take off.

So how exactly do mail order tunes work? I know you have to take it out and mail to someone (hence the name) but how do they determine what is best for your car?

Awsome? The prices are outragious...I mean really......what if there
is a degradation of the performance...then what...U think some guy on the internet is going to give U the $700 back? If so I have some nice
properties in the Mountains over Miami I would like to sell you.
I think this is a scam. If gas mileage could be increased 4 mpg, GM would have done it to help them meet the CAFE standards easily.
Its always easy to believe in an easy change to make a big difference but unfortunately its not true....
$700!!!!??? Good GOD man!!
for $700 you could buy HPT,the EIO, and a wideband!
then you could have a better tune than what any "Mail-Order tune"
could ever give you! They sure have a nice website though

Where the Hell are you coming up with $700, his tunes are 75 if you send him your PCM and 150 for a new tuned PCM then you have to get a crank relearn, as far as the gas mileage maybe you should stick to something you know about, on any godd programming software you can change the paramaters on alot of things to help you get power or gas mileage, the reason GM dosent do it is because they have to meet certain emission requirments.
700?? Um..... I dont remember seeing that, maybe to BUY the software.... but not for a tune. Anyways, thanks for showing me this site, it is defenitly a possibility in the future now. ThankS!
