i got a buddy thats a gm tech. sometimes (if i can get ahold of him) he'll let me stop on by the dealership so he can use that Tech 1 scantool thing that they get. i'm mostly using it on my beater truck right now cuz... well... its a beater and it sucks. my question is, can you do the same kinda stuff with like HPT that you can with the Tech 1? stuff like controlling the digital EGR pintles, sweeping the gauges, running the ABS motors to bleed them, turning on and off cylinders... stuff like that.

Well this information is only applicable to the DHP because that is what I use.
The DHP power tuner currently does not perform the matinance routines that the TECH 1 does. I've asked Charles to add features like these so it may be possible in the future.
I've heard of a big revision for the DHP becoming avalible soon with many more features and supported cars.
