you can scan your car and others... I scan my girlfirends cavalier whenever it has problems. And other v6ers cars. Its like having a GM autotap.

eek so you bought a used serial interface that didnt have your model year on it & now your upgrading to usb? I hope you only paid like $100 for the serial interface.
