i wanna know how fast a stock 3.8 v6 camaro or firebird is? i mean all stock no mods,top speed,speeds in a 1/4 mile evrything the works! cuz im new to the v6's and recently got 1 awhile back

118MPH is the fastest a stock car will go with no mods...or tuning for speed limiter. ;)

and is that at redline rpms? cuz i reached 110 and it was heading to the redline and i said "no im not goin any further" lol cuz i think i was running out of gear

you were probably at the end of 3rd and ready to shift into overdrive. When I had the limiter yet my car was in overdrive when it would hit 118 and not go any faster

so u think these things would go fsater then 118 if there was not a limiter? i was wondering how u get rid of the limiter cuz 1 time it wouldnt let me go past 100

You can probably easily hit 130mph stock. Just need to remove the speed limiter.
The fastest I have gone in my car is 135 and it still couldve gone more. But I got mods.

I have had mine going 133 before shutting it down. Was tracking it with my hp tuners program.

with tuning. hp tuners, dhp tuner, or mail order tune

I think it is time for you to check out the search feature and do some reading. ;) Lots of info out there at your fingertips using the search

is the limiter set at 118 so that no matter how many bolt ons you have, the computer will still shut it down at 118 without a tune?

correct, you will just get there faster with more mods

I hit 137 mph on the dyno in 4th gear at about 6000 rpms this was when I was running the powerdyne at 8 psi, I would like to see what it would top out in 5 th gear. Maybe next time on the dyno
