hello i just found this recalibrator online for sale for 170 bucks and want to get it because I have a 4.10 gear ratio and want to change my speedometer AND odometer. has anyone seen this product or heard anything about it so I know it will work before I buy it? heres the link http://fasttoys.net/shop/product_inf...oducts_id=1058

OMG dont buy it
You could get a mail order tune for $150 from a choice of 3 different companies. Which will give you an extra 15-30 hp too (depending on your mods).
If you lived by me, I would change your tune (for gears) for free.
You cant change the odometer, thats illegal. The odometer mileage is stored in the BCM which cannot be reprogrammed, except from a Chevy House, and they sure as heck arent gonna change it for you.

couple questions....

1. why shouldn't I buy it? whats wrong with it?

2. i have a 1996 3.8L - where could I get it mail order tuned for that cheap?

3. if i change the speedometer, shouldn't the odometer change with the speedometer so that I can get the right mileage? or does everyone who has 4.10 gears get wrong mileage?
