if i have 96 pcm,and i want to get it tuned then y do i have to buy a 97? whats the difference between them?

because hp tuners cant tune 96 PCMs and it can tune 97 PCMs which are a direct swap into your 96. Mail order tunes with hp tuners can be found at texas-speed.com

PCMforless.com tunes for 96's, they will send you the pcm and you have to send your core back.

so if 96s and 97s are direct swaps why cant i order the stuff for the 96, i dont understand why it wouldnt work...

the programming code in the 96 is not cracked by the guys at hp tuners. Therefore hp tuners doesn't work for the 96 pcms
