My guy that rebuilt my 4l60e because it was shifting at all kinds of weird times said that the reason it was shifting funny was because of the pcm, but i have never had any tuning, gears, or anything done before everything on the car was still working just fine. Do you think i would need a whole new pcm or to just get this one reprogramed?

I dont think the stock pcm would cause a stock car to shift at weird times2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls! -

the 4l60e tranny has some issues. scan it for some DTC codes if you come up with P1870 your tranny is slipping. When this happens the PCM maxes out your line pressure all the time. And when left unchecked will cause abnormal shifting. If caught early it should be less than 400 bucks to fix. Your Check engine light may not be on but you still might have the code.Comment
