computer tuning which is best??

OK I want to get my computer flashed/tuned or whatever you would like to call it on my 1995 3.4 camaro 5 spd. I am only 17 so im looking for something cheap and alot of power if possible? also what should i expect to see from this hp wise and 1/4 miles time wise. thanks for any help!

with those mods, I would just do a mail-in tune. No point on spend $400-$500 on HP tuners or DHP.

Fastchip is the only company that will tune your pcm. Check out their website at fastchip.com, I believe it costs around $350.

your wrong... nobody does 93-97 -any v6- tuning... I have looked everywhere

your wrong...the 96-02 3.8l motor is tunable by TSP or PCM4Less and also you can use tuners like Hp tuners and DHP using your own laptop. I personally tune my 97 with hp tuners

As for the 3.4 there is no cheap program to tune them. You are looking at custom standalone systems like megasquirt and such for them.

they do for HPtuners tunes, DHP is capable of 96 pcm's though. That doesn't mean they are not tunable though like he was making it sound.

How do you do this through your laptop? Yeah right after I posted that i went to pcmforless and realized they do... and pretty cheap...

tuning program is on the laptop, hook cable to obdII port and then to the laptop. Upload any tune I want.

Mail orders they send you a PCM and you send your stocker back as a core usually or keep it for a core charge

yeah i use DHP for my 96 since i did not feel like swaping out my computer

DHP uses the serial port to obdII cable to interface with a computer for tuning
