jet scu 2000?

has any one used this jet scu 2000? if any one has used it for the 98-02 firebirds what is your results on it as far as removing speedlimiter , and recalibration?

Nachius used it on his comero. got it for the diff gears he put in. worked, but I don't know if it removed a speed limiter or not.... his was a 96

yea for a 97 and up f-body the tune is the way to go.

I ran an scu2000 for a while, it did remove the governor, your speedo just stops at 110. It recalibrated for gears but it took some time adjusting and playing with the settings. Also if you decide to go with one make sure you have a VERY GOOD GROUND.

i had one one my car for a time, and my car wouldnt shift under heavy load. i did take off the speed limiter though and correct the speedo, i just couldnt race with it so i sent it back

Why not just get your car tuned, i just got my 2006 z71 done by this guy, very nice guy. For 250 you can not beat it. Give him a call and talk to him..... www.gowheatley.com Like i said, he did an awsome job on my truck, adjusted timing, removed speedlimitor, removed abuse torque management, increased idle, and other stuff, truck is running like a top. The reason i choose him to do it is becuase hes 10 miles from me. But he also does mail order. Im not sure if he does cars, but you can find out.

Your car won't shift out of first gear and you'll run a 24@40 in the 1/4 mile :D
