after some searchin, i stumbled on www.gmpcm.com
now its slightly complicated, but you can custom tune your 3.4l v6 camaro/firebird. so long as you DONT have a 4l60e.
you essentially swap in an old ecu, the 1227727. you can then either run the $A1 code which is what the pre obd1.5 3x00 v6 cars use. on the other hand you can use the $8F code for boosted applications, which comes from the 89-90 Turbo Grand Prix.
you use the gmpcm program to tune, and can even get an eprom emulator to tune in real time.
so like i said it will work with the T5 93-95 cars and the 4l60 93 cars.
you DO lose SFI (itll run in batch fire mode), since the older ecu does not have previsions for that either.
so after all that...i have a 4l60e.:(
(currently thinkin about a T5 swap or a 3400 obd2 ecu swap.)
i should mention i take no credit for really figuring any of this out. all credit should go to Mick at gmpcm.com.
