Uhm, I dunno. You'd have to have a tuner or something like that. When I did the gear swap on my car i just sent it to TSP with a letter stating what i had and what I put in and what I wanted them to do. I'm sure you could take it to a dealer and just have them reprogram it. Otherwise, I don't know how to do it

Dealer is the only way I know how. My car had the 3.42 (GU6) with drums (yes... it was a freak) so it is possible with the programming. I just did a swap out of a Z rear end with 3.42 posi/disc.

Do you have an auto car?

If so look into getting a Jet Scu 2000 unit. It allows you to adjust for gears and also remove your speed limiter.

Dealer I don't think can do it unless it is 97+ I had mine done at a dealer before HPtuners came out for the 3.8. Since you have a 3.4 I don't think this is an option. You can look into it though.

Jet scu 2000 though is a way to fix it.

Also does the 99 rear end have TCS and ABS? How about your current car?

you are going to have to get some type of aftermarket programmer available for your car.

You can forget about going to the dealership, I am not positive about your 94 f-body but i doubt it is adjustable with the tech 1 and GM will definatly not program cars that old. if they do, I will pay myself a lot of money :D

this was before hptuners was around and I had to go to a couple dealers before finding one that would do it as it was against rules to change the vins and that is what was being done within the PCM. I had to use a vin from a y87 car and they had to burn it in.

With hptuners it is only a couple clicks away from changing it. If you do this just send your PCM to me and I can change it for ya. ;)

you put in the height of the tires and then divide it by the new gearing. Enter it into the program and it is good to go

I can't do yours, you have a 3.4l engine. I was talking about niko's 97 car that I could do

Fastchip is the only one I know that could reprogram a 3.4 PCM for gears.

You could get a Jet SCU 2000 if all you were worried about was the speedo.
