Can someone clarify this for me?

The Pin outs listing in the Firebird V6 Technical Database has the A/T Fluid Temp Sensor Input (A4) listed at Pin cavity's 68 and 71. According to the AllData pin out, it should be at Pin cavity 68, there's nothing listed at Pin cavity 71. Does anyone know why it is listed at two different cavity pins at the Tech Database? And which one is the correct one? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Tommy.

possibly a difference between years. What year car is yours? I would go with 68 as both alldata and the tech database list 68

You're reading the chart wrong.

71 is for a 95-97 PCM

68 is for a 98+ PCM
