    1993 Firebird 3.4L

    Is there a difference between a PCM/ECM for a 3.4 A4 and a 3.4 5 speed manual?

I am looking to buy a used one off of ebay but it came from a 5 speed and I have an A4.

Auto and manual were the same for '93 (because the trans wasn't electronic yet) but the 94-95 used different PCMs.

There's a sticky at the top of the page on this.

Thanks guys. I am not sure if it is fried. It will not give a scan tool any info and it is stuck in open loop. I am not sure if it is the PCM or a wiring problem. I found one really cheap on ebay, so I was going to try it and if it did not help, just resell it on ebay.

It is from a 1995 3.4L with a 5 speed, so I do not think that it will work.

        I will keep looking.
