93 Jet Install

I just purchased Jet chip 19312S a.k.a. Jet chip stage 2 for my 1993 firebird. Anywho, I would be greatful to hear a brief overview of how to install it. (I already have the PCM pulled out of the car) thanx

well since no one else is resonding you have 2 options have jet give you instrutions or just start cutting wires and soldimizing things then again you could always search

in all honesty i've searched this site pretty hard for an exact 93 install... the problem is i find all the installs are from 94 and up which is not good because the pcm is different (wire ports on in the front as opposed to the back) plus they're different sizes

Any one who has done this mod to your 93.... where did you decide to stick the JET PCM?? Did you put it underneath the Stock PCM on the metal or what?

It's one of those boxes on a pigtail right? I would just get some double-sided 3M tape and stick it to the firewall or the back side of the shock tower or something. Worst case you could probably just zip-tie it to the wiring harness.

aight, i've decided against the chip for now, simply because the company emailed me and said it was on "back order" ... I honest to god emailed them back telling them to "suck on my balls but thanx for letting me know." I put the pcm back in the car (which was a huge PIA) simply cuz i want to drive my car some time in the near future.... some day i will get it though

That's pretty crappy, where did you order it from? Just checked Summit and looks like there's a 2-week lead time there. :(

(fasterthanthem.com).... never ordered from there before but they were selling JET 19312S.... the one i need for only 208$...not too shabby eh?..... they sent me an email asking why i had sent such a crude comment.... i had a good laugh

BTW does anybody know where I can find JET part 19312S for my 93 3.4 firebird for around 200$? or at least NOT 300

I checked with my wholesaler and it would have to be a special order to JET for it as they dont have any in the warehouse. Looks like the best I could do is $240 but I dunno how long it would take to come in since it is a special order and if they are backordered at JET on them then who knows.

Jet would probably have to make one. Summit says 2 weeks to ship.
