ive got a 2000 v6 camaro and i took it to the track today and i did low 10s in an 1/8 mile so far i got a throttle body spacer flowmaster exhaust k&n fuel injection performance kit and a hypertech tuner not much but i need some recommendations on using the tuner all i did was increased tranny shift firmness tuned for 93 octane and raised the top speed limiter the rest i need some help with such as shift points rev limits etc anybody familiar with the hypertech any recommendations on how to set things and thanks

I think the instructions are pretty cut and dry as far as recommendations on programming shift points. Pay attention and learn exactly, or very close to when your car shifts. Most of it is feel. Get the 1-2 shift down and work your way up. Be carful not to set your rev limiter lower than the RPM your shift points are set for otherwise the PCM will cut power to the engine and you will be defeating the purpose of quicker shifts. Utilize your powerband, if you have recently had a dyno pull, study the graph to get an idea where your powerband would be most effective in each gear.
