Bank 1 sensor 3 is reading high voltage.....it has been doing this off and on for the past couple of months. The ses light will come on, then after a couple days the light will go off, then come back on again later..... All of the sensors are only a year old. What i cant understand is why it will correct itself, but then it will come back on? Also, when it is reading high voltage, what is the o2 sensor then over/under compensating for? Will it tell the computer to send more fuel, less fuel, or neither? Is the bank 1 sensor 3 the one right before the cat? I'm starting to wonder if the headers and all the exhaust work is to blame for this? Either getting too hot or having too much flow? what gives...

its because of your aftermarket cat. it is the sensor after your cat.Comment

If you dont want the light coming on and off you can either get an o2 simulator or put the old cat back on.Comment

are you absolutely positive it is the sensor after the cat? i dont doubt it, there are a lot of knowledgeable people on here. i would figure that would be sensor 4 since that is the last sensor? ive already got an o2 sim on the post-cat one, and it is one of the non-defective ones from casper....atleast it is supposed to be. Im pretty sure its the one after the cat, considering that 2 weeks ago I got my computer checked cause my ses light was on and had a bad o2 sensor in bank 1 sensor 3 and I replaced it with a o2 sim and problem was gone.Comment

I went back to zzperformance and they carry a different o2 sim now....i guess they lost faith in casper as well.
