Hi,
If the O2 sensor on one bank is not working, ie showing no activity as a code, will that cause that bank to run rich or lean?? I don't show any other codes but engine feels a little rough on acceleration?? 98 Firebird

The ecm will flood that bank with fuel making it very rich to play it safe, but i wouldnt' drive agressively until you have it fixed... you'll probably want to replace the plugs on that side once you've fixed it too.

The care will run off parimeters are set in the PCM if the o2 doenst work. Its a rich mixture so noithing is damaged. The cars gas mileage would be similer like the car never got into closed loop.
depending on which one it is, it may make only one bank rich
