97's computers blow...

so i called jet performance to get a chip for my car and i was told that no1 makes a performance chip for my car, and only the 95 and 96 3800's had em...

is this true and if it is... where would i go to get a 96 or a 95's computer and would it be possible to do a swap...??? i kno id def. hav to get it tuned but headers, gears, intake, alum. driveshaft, and rebuild + cam are soon to come so i need to get it tuned neways... thanks

get a mail in tune from PCM for less or Texas Speed. It's cheaper, alot more customizable, and better than a JET chip.

Or even better, get HPTuners and then be able to adjust things as you add more mods ;)

97 is alot better to tune than a 95 or 96

97 owns the 95, 96 pcms....read the stickies

hptuners or DHP are the way to go for tuning. Mail order tunes are good too for a bolt on car
