OK, obviously a dynotune's gonna spit out better numbers, but would it be worth it for me? I've got a 97 Camaro: CAI, custom 3" exhaust w/no cat, headers, complete Z-28 rear (sway bars and all :D ), aluminum DS, I think that's it. Would it be worth it to do the dynotune ($250-$300), or should I just go get a mail-in from PCM for Less with a 93 octane tune ($150)? Thing is, my friend's gonna do the dynotune for me, and the date he's got reserved is coming up, so I'd have to borrow the extra money from somewhere, where as the mail-in tune isn't as expensive and I've got the cash for it. But, if I ever wanted to put a cam in the car, I could just get a new PCM from PCM for less with a tune on it for the cam, but if I dynotune I'd have to repay the original price. I would like to see what she's putting out though, but I can get that for like $50 anytime. So, which one should I go with?

you don't really have much to tune for, so i'd go with a mail in, and then maybe a dyno tune when you get a cam.

I would go with the mail in tune. I have one and am very pleased with in since I only have bolt-ons. Plus you have to think is $200 worth 2-3 hp.

that's what I was thinking. Thanks guys.....

Edit: Just wondering, how much gain did you guys see from the 93 octane tune?
