Has anyone here messed with their throttle position sensor mechanically? I know u can mess with it via tuners and programs but i dont have any of that and not planning on buying nething. I talked to a guy at the track that used to have an LS1 and he said he used a voltmeter and a die grinder and shaved part of the sensor off so that the throttle would open to the maximum. I guess it helped improve some HP. Anybody ever try this?
100% throttle is 100% throttle, you can't gain any more if the butterfly in your tb is flat. I have seen some scans of cars though, just recently an ls1 where the throttle position was only reading 81% when he was putting it to the floor.
