I have a Hypertech programmer III .What are the best shift points to program my auto tranny ?

as firm as to your liking, if I had one I would put them to the firmest.

but in reality, try selling your hypertech and getting a true tuning setup like hptuners. Does way more, and is not limited in use. Plus hypertech advances timing which is a no-no for power adders and such if you go that route later on.

Hypertechs are fine for just an exhaust/intake car though

well I PLAN on going to a dyno shop and getting my car tuned but that is later on because I want to do my externals and internals , then get it tuned so it will all tie in together

they don't make one for a 97, only way to tune a 97 is with hptuners or DHP tuning software or a mail order tune
