what part # did you get? it should say right on the back of the chip, now i'm curious. cuz i have the same year and transmisison. mine DID come with a quick splice i'm not making anything up. look at this instruction manual for the 19312s chip that i purchased for my car and u will see it has instructions for using the quick splice u focking noob, u probably got the wrong part.

there are different jet chips for each year of the 3.4
