I've heard so much about it (and read a little), and my tuition rebate finally came in, that I'm buying it. I have a 1997 3.8 with a few simple mods (CAI, catback, 4.10's....) and i'm pretty excited b/c I've heard a lot of good things about it. Other than permenatly saving the first reading someplace safe, what are some typical suggestions? I mean...i'm def a noob when it comes to the PCM stuff, so I have a lot of reading to do.
I was j/w. Any advice (even if it's condescending) on what I should do first is appreciated.
Yea. I might even write the file to a CD just to have a hard copy of it as well. As for prior tunes, no. This will be the first tune for the car. That's kind of why I'm ordering it as well, to fix the speedo. Oh, but now that leads to another question. The 97's have digitol speedometers correct? Well mine is analog, but since it's not a mechanical speedo, I can still correctly calibrate through the tuner right?
